Colposcopy results

I recently had a biopsy at my smear test I've since received a letter which reads,

 

They wish to inform you this has no moderate changes in keeping in line with the smear and colonoscopy findings. We would be able to offer you conservative management however they need to discuss my case with the MDT as a formality. 
 

I just need more help understanding what this means if anyone could help?

  • Hello Abygail and thank you for your post,

    Don't worry you don't have cancer but to be sure about what to do now it is going to be discussed at the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meeting and you will then be told what they will want to do. This could be following you up more frequently (than the NHS screening programme invites)  for a while to make sure no abnormal cells appear.
