Testicular cancer worry

Hi so I am worried that I might have testicular cancer. I got a ultrasound on a lump in my scrotum around 2.5 years ago and it was just a cyst just in case that helps. My right testicle is bigger than my left, when it is cold it feels bigger but when I come out the shower and I properly check it just feels a wee bit bigger. On both them it feels like there is loose skin on the testicle that I can grab on the opposite side to the epidymis but  don't know if that is just part of it. I have a varicole on the left on so maybe that could have the made the left one smaller so I'm not sure if one is big or one is small or if there difference is normal. I also feel a tiny lump no bigger than a grain of sand on the left which I can find sometimes but not all the time. I don't really have any other symptoms no aching in the scrotum, the odd abdominal pain but not out the ordinary. I do have a cough but I have cold so I think that's fine. I'm and have health anxiety, I was really worried that I had lymphoma about a month ago and still kinda am. Any advice or reassurance.

  • Hello and thank you for getting back in touch with us.

I am afraid that it is not possible for anyone here to say what is the matter.  The best thing to do if you are worried is to get checked out by your GP.

The thing about looking at symptoms of cancer is that they can also be the same symptoms that cause far less serious conditions so do get checked out to hopefully get some peace of mind.

    Take care,

    Caroline
