Hi you will need to go to the gp for them to examine you and if they feel the need they will refer you to a nhs breast clinic other than that you'd have to pay for a private untradound.

A referral for an ultrasound under the NHS should normally come from a doctor.  This would be a free ultrasound.

If the gynecologist has not made the referral you could get back in touch with the place you had the appointment to ask what is happening.  You can also speak to your GP as they will get  a report about what was found at your appointment. 

Depending on the type of referral you get it may be a wait of a few weeks for the ultrasound.  People are telling us that they are waiting longer for scans at the moment as the departments are very busy.
