Worried for my hubby

My hubby has prostate cancer, he's PSA has risen and has been getting bad pains in he's back to the point he struggles to get up from the chair, bed, etc. Hospital sent him for a CT scan after 3/4 in pain. Also booked a bone scan, Ct scan was done over 2 weeks ago and still no results back and bone scan was cancelled two weeks ago due to not having the dye they put into the veins!! We are so worried, and don't know where to turn, we really need the results back and want him to have the bone scan done asap!! Why have hey just forgotten about him!! 
Any advice would be appreciated greatly

    I'm sorry that you and your husband are going through this at the moment. It can take time for some scans to be reported and sent back to the team involved. but I understand you would want to know what is happening sooner rather than later.

    I wonder if your husband has a specialist nurse (CNS) who you could contact to explain your concerns. Or whether you have the consultant secretary's details to be able to call and enquire.

    If his symptoms get worse while waiting for the results then do let the CNS know or call the NHS111 for advice. 

    Hopefully you will hear back from them soon, but in the mean time if you want to talk anything through you could give our nurse on our helpline a call on Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
