Pelvic Girdle Pain?

I'm waiting for my 2 week wait letter for suspected Ovarian Cancer. In the meantime I have developed new symptoms, I'm finding it hard to walk. Finally realised this weird sensation and pain is very similar to when I had SPD through pregnancy many years ago. SPD is now known as Pelvic Girdle pain. It sounds very much like what I am experiencing.  

 

Would this typically be a condition associated with Ovarian cancer please?

    I've got my appointment tomorrow. Hoping for some answers and help, although was told on the phone the appointment will be to discuss symptoms. I had hoped they would be doing scans and tests right away.

    Hello and thank you for posting.

    Glad to hear you have your appointment through for tomorrow, they will assess you then and decide what investigations need to be done.

    SPD (Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction)/pelvic girdle pain is a specific musculoskeletal disorder affecting women during and after pregnancy which as far as I know is unrelated to ovarian cancer.

    I hope you find out more when you speak to the doctor tomorrow.

    Take care, and do try and keep busy between now and then to help time pass.

    Thanks for the reply. I just wondered if the weakness in my legs is connected. Just worried I have multiple things going on now. I guess I just have to be patient now, it's been very hard being so ill for 8 weeks now, just getting worse all of the time.
