I am sorry to hear you are currently waiting for some biopsy results, this must be an anxious time for you.

Breast biopsies are usually taken of any abnormal areas seen on either the mammogram or ultrasound scan. This won't always be into the lump so try not to worry about this and trust the team involved in your care.
