I'm 20 and have found a hard lump about the size of a pea painful to the touch near my anal cavity.  
 

I often overthink and am really worried about it being cancerous I don't have any other symptoms apart from my bowel movement being slightly off, but I didn't think much of it. 
 

I'm not sure about going to the dr I don't want to be silly, I thought maybe it's a ingrown hair but I can't see anything to indicate that.

Not too sure what to do.
