Waiting for results I know can be such a worry especially if you have to wait quite a while.  

You did the right thing in contacting the hospital about this, but I'm afraid there probably isn't much you can do about the time you are waiting.  If you are very upset about it, it might help to talk it through with the hospital's PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) but doing this may not get the results to you any earlier. 

I think it might also be helpful to know that if you did have cancer that the surgery you had would have removed it. Womb cancer is for many women cured with the type of surgery you had.  Of course the results may also show that no cancer was found.  

I hope you have people around you to support you and that you are recovering well after surgery.
