Used to work in a dental setting (not a dentist, though). What you're describing sounds like an abscess due to the cavity next to it.
Though, not cancer, it warrants a prompt dental visit if that's what it turns out to be. Add to that, once it stops draining, you'll know all about pain. Dental pain can go from 0-10 within minutes. Don't take your lack of pain as an indicator of severity. If a tooth happens to be sore, but then the pain subsides, things have got a lot worse as it means the root has died and now you have a dead tooth festering away. Sounds like you have a deep cavity, and will either need an extraction or a root canal.
You do not hang around with dental abscesses because the infection can enter into your blood stream. Dental abscesses do not get better without treatment.
Hello and thanks for posting
I am sorry to hear you suffer with health anxiety and are worried about mouth cancer.
If you have any concerns about your teeth or anything else that feels or looks unusual in your mouth you should arrange to see a dentist.
Oral cancer at your young age would be rare and it is likely this lump may be the result of something far less serious, but do get it looked at for your own peace of mind.

Take care
