  • Hello and thank you for your post.

I am sorry to hear about what you're are going through with cancer treatment.

While it is not possible for me to know much about your situation, this is because I am not part of the team caring for you, it looks like there is a concern with your lung so a biopsy is being done to find out what is the matter.

Doing any surgical procedure while you are having chemotherapy means there is a window of opportunity to be able to carry it out. So this might make you feel they are doing this quickly and that there is a lot going on.  However getting up to date information about your cancer is really important when knowing how best to treat you.

Do talk with your cancer team, if you have a cancer nurse specialist you could talk with him/her,  leave a message(if you have to)  someone will get back to you.

You would also be welcome to get back to us if you need any more information or support.  You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline.  The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.

    Take care,

    Caroline
