LLETZ 1 Week on

Morning everyone,

I had a LLETZ procedure last Friday to remove CIN2 cells.

The nurse was so lovely and reassuring and told me that I should be back on my feet the following day.

7 days on and I'm still experiencing some pains in my lower abdomen, I've found I have no energy and very slow about my daily routines and am passing small clots from time to time.

has anyone else experienced anything similar and at what point should I feel "back on my feet" 

I'm a single parent and have a physical job and to say I'm struggling is an understatement!

    I am sorry to hear of this after your procedure.

    Just to say this forum can't really give specific medical advice. You may have an infection, so do please contact your GP or the colposcopy unit where you had the procedure done. Out of hours you can also ring NHS 111 for medical advice. Try and not do any heavy lifting if possible, and allow up to 4 weeks to fully recover.
