I am sorry to hear about your boyfriends situation and can understand you being worried about him and wanting the best.

There are a few different chemotherapy regimes used for these types of tumour here and the decision for each patient is made by a team of specialists to decide the treatment to give the best outcome, given the circumstances.

Do encourage your boyfriend to ask his team any questions he or you may have about the choice of chemotherapy so you are both fully informed  and can be reassured by any decision made.
