I can appreciate you must be very worried at the moment but try and sit tight until you have been seen in colposcopy and find out more.

Unfortunately it is impossible for anyone here to know what is or isn't going on. It will only be at your appointment where they can take a closer look at the cervix and possibly take a biopsy that will confirm what the problem is and what further treatment may be needed.

The important thing is you made the move to go for your screening the nurse has picked something up and it can now be checked out.

As difficult as it must be please try not to over think things until you have all the facts. Keeping yourself busy and your mind on other things can sometimes help at times like these.
