Second brain mri of brain scan with contrast

Hi 

I have Stage 2c melanoma and I have had 2 six monthly scans so far.   They have said there were areas of concern due to my blood pressure and they were not concerned about that.  However on the last scan they said they detected a blooming artifact and would re-scan in 3 months.  I did ask my csn and she said that they weren't overly worried but they thought it could be a brain bleed. 
 

My mri is due next week and I am really scared that they find something sinister.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

    I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with a melanoma and I can appreciate the concern you have about the MRI scan that is due next week.

    I don't think anyone can shed much light on this for you. In a way it is reassuring that you have the MRI scan soon but at the same time it must be concerning you.  Remember that your CNS does not seem to be overly concerned. 

    I'm afraid that it is all about coping with the wait so I hope you have some support around you.
