I am sorry to hear about the worry you have.  Having a swollen lymph node and higher than normal white cell count does not mean you definitely have cancer, in fact there is a very good chance you do not have it.  There can be many reasons for this happen and for most people it will not be due to cancer. However, getting the lymph node checked out is the best thing to do.

Asking other people about what happened to them I am sure you realise is not going to shine much more light on your situation but might help you cope better. You might find that posting in another area on Cancer Chat will give be seen by more people and will give you more results.  If you look to the left of this page you will see the other areas.
