I'm afraid I do not know why you are getting flare ups with your lymph nodes. You have been to the GP and talked it through with them so they will decide if this needs to be further investigation. If they do decide to refer you into the breast clinic to get checked out you will be thoroughly assessed there.

Lymph nodes can often flare up when the body is fighting off infection as it is part of your immune systems reaction to bacteria and viruses. But your doctor who has reviewed you will decide if nodes that are regularly swelling a need a closer look.

Any symptom can be related to a cancer, but also many other things can go on in the body not just cancer. So do be careful and not cause yourself additional stress by looking online  and wait to see what you hear from the GP.
