Hi so after not having a period for 8 months im 50 every time i open my bowels i bleed alot from my vagina ...Got horrendous lower back pain any ideas what this could be ??
I'm sorry to hear you have noticed some bleeding that is causing anxiety and concern, but I'm afraid no-one on this forum going to be able to say if there is anything the matter.
Most things are easily explained, and are not anything serious, but it would be good to contact your GP and organise a telephone conversation. They will then bring you into the surgery if they need to see you face to face. There are various gynaecological reasons for vaginal bleeding, so it makes sense to get this checked out by your GP.
