Anyone got experience of chest pain, not too bad, but persistent following diagnosis of thymus cancer. I am wondering how long i can tollerate this pain, as i am due to go on holiday abroad next week.

Hello I'm so sorry about your diagnosis.
I contacted my GP about mild chest pain and they told me to call 111 or to call 999 if it lasts longer than 10 mins.
Maybe you should call 111 for advice just incase.
Hope you can still go on your holiday.
Hello, and thanks for posting,
Do let your GP know about your increased pain, as all chest pain should be checked out properly anyway. You can also ring NHS 111 for further medical advice. You would benefit from regular painkillers, and maybe even a short course of steroids.
Unfortunately, this forum isn't really able to offer specific advice, as everyone's situation is different.
But, I hope that you are able to get some help soon,
Best wishes,
Vanda
