Unintentional weight loss

I'm not sure if this is something that I should wait to see how things go or if it is time to contact the GP.

Back in July, I went from 7st 6ibs to 6st 11ibs in the space of 3 weeks. My GP fast tracked my colorectal referral and thankfully, I just had haemorrhoids. I still do worry that I have something else that is causing the weight loss.

I decided to follow the advice on the NHS website to gain weight healthily. This helped my digestion but not so much my weight.

I'm still losing a bit of weight. I'm 6st 7ibs now.

Something else that has made me concerned is that I had a bra fitting and my band size has gone down to 24! It used to be 32 for years.

  • Hello and thank you for posting.

I'm sorry you are having these concerns but I don't know if there is anything the matter. Anyone who notices a persistent change to their body that worries them is best to get checked out by doctor. Your GP is the only person who can review you and decide if further investigation needs to be done.

Take care, and hopefully you will know more soon.

    Sarah.
