Hi,
So two years ago I had CIN2 and high risk HPV. I had a LLETZ and since then my smears have been clear.
Now my smear has come back as CIN1 and still high risk HPV. They want to do another LLETZ but this will leave me with cervical incompetence for life - meaning I would need stitching in my cervix throughout any pregnancy. I am only 26 and yet to have children, but plan to one day.
NHS guidance says not to treat CIN1. I am being treated privately. Has anyone else had similar advice? I'm concerned my doctor is being overly cautious.
Thank you,
