Decisions about treatment are made on an individual patient basis using all the information the doctor has about you and your situation and treatment isn't taken lightly. 

Whilst most CIN1 isn't treated but monitored there are situations when the doctor will decide to offer treatment and I suggest you ask to speak to them so they can talk through the reasons why they are suggesting the LLETZ.

Some people do need more than one LLETZ treatment and whilst this can affect the cervix competence as you say in pregnancy it doesn't stop people becoming pregnant and can be managed ( with a stitch if necessary) to prevent early labour, so try not to overly worry about this.

The important thing with cervical screening and any follow up colposcopy is to manage any abnormality to prevent cervical cancer.
