My husband had WLE and SNB on 31st August after having two melanomas removed. We were both worried about after-effects but so far he seems ok. We were told results for biopsy on sentinel node would take about 5weeks - is this usual? He's not worrying too much and I was ok until a couple of days ago. Also we don't know how they'll let him know about results. Letter? Phonecall? Appointment at hospital? We both agree we wouldn't want to go in and see them not knowing what results said and I have to drive him at the moment and I'd be too upset to drive. Tbh, we don't feel we're getting much info/support.
