I have a mole on my left shoulder, it has been there for as long as I can remember. It hasn't changed in any way, it has always been brown in colour with some tiny freckles inside and it is larger than my various other moles - it looks exactly the same as it always has. However I'm pregnant (24 weeks) and the area around the mole now seems to be the source of a lot of pain and is really achy, particularly when I touch the area or if I've done something like a driving lesson. I'm also getting pain in my left breast and lower back. I know the breast and back pain could be due to pregnancy but I'm worried that this is some sort of cancer from the mole that has spread to these areas. My GP was in agreement that the mole does not look suspicious, but asked me to go back and see him if the pain remained, which it has. Can melanoma present in this way? I do suffer with health anxiety and throughout this pregnancy I've also convinced myself of cervical cancer due to the lower back pain and the fact I had cin 1 diagnosed before pregnancy - again, consultant not concerned and said to follow up with a smear after baby is born. Sorry for the long winded message!
