When I run my hand over my leg, I have several lumps under skin in my thigh which feel like the size of a grape.
I have had them for a while, they go down and then reappear.

Hello and thanks for your post
Lumps and bumps can appear for lots of different reasons and most of the time won't be caused by anything as serious as cancer, especially at your young age.
You can read more about lumps here on the NHS website but generally lymph nodes are normally swollen because of a recent viral or bacterial infection and can sometimes be felt for several months after the infection has cleared.
If the lumps don't settle down over the next few weeks it's probably best to make an appointment with your GP. Doctors are experienced at assessing symptoms and if they have concerns or are unsure about what the matter is they may run some further tests.
I hope you know more about your situation soon.
Kind regards,
Celene
