Pea sized lump in armpit on mastectomy side

Hi their my partner had breast cancer about 4 year ago stage 2 her positive and in 3 lymph nodes.she has recently received treatment for lymphadema and is wearing the tight sleeve they give you after a week of using it she's noticed a small pea size lump under her arm I was just wondering could this be caused by lymph fluid moving from her arm obviously she is very distressed as she has been reffered to the breast clinic under the 2week rule thankyou for taking the time to read this

    I can understand that finding a small lump under her arm must have been distressing. We can't diagnose her and there may well be a perfectly reasonable explanation that doesn't mean a cancer diagnosis but unfortunately it is a question of waiting for the breast clinic appointment. 

    Try and encourage her to keep busy so she is not thinking about her appointment all the time.
