Is this normal

Hi, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and I have also been diagnosed as having lung cancer too. I'm going into hospital on Thursday for mastectomy and to have part of my lung removed. I'm a bit worried as I was taking Tamoxifen but had to stop it back 2 weeks ago, but I'm now worried as I've been on my period now for 9 days is this normal, as I'm not usually this long. Can you please put my mind at ease as I'm worried.

    I am sorry to hear that you are having treatment for cancer and I can appreciate you have some concerns. 

    Your percids might take some time to settle down because you were on Tamoxifen. When you get a chance mention this to your doctor, but I don't think it is necessarily anything to do with cancer. 

    I hope the mastectomy and lung surgery you are having on Thursday go well.
