I had lobectomy thyroid and keeps coming back inconclusive

they cant say i dont have cancer they cant say i do.i know there are three areas that are starting to break out i.e  auapicious for follicular neoplasm.

 

as a rule if results keep coming back as inconclusive even though surgeon sais theres a couple of areas of concern .

what treatent rout do the surgeons nhs favour in this circumstance

    Each case is treated individually and I am sure much discussion between the radiologists, pathologists  and your doctors will have been had in deciding what your next steps should be.

    Thyroid cancer is a rare cancer but nodules can be common. The British Thyroid Organisation have produced some information about the different types of nodules that people can get which you can see here

    It is probably best to have this discussion with your doctors. Let them know about your concerns and how they plan to monitor you/treat you moving forward.
