I can understand that it is unsettling being told that the doctor did not know what she had seen but unfortunately no one can tell you what this is.

Even though it can be reassuring hearing other people on the forum everyone's situation is very different.

The other symptoms that you are experiencing are probably not connected so try if you can not to over think it if you possibly can.

I am sure that your GP will get back to you when she has consulted with her colleague.
