The ultrasound is the gold standard to investigate lymph nodes when they are enlarged. I would be reassured with what you have been told.

I am sure if they had any concerns then they would have investigated them further.

Lymph glands can go up and down at the sign of of an infection or when an infection has been present.

Hopefully as time goes on your lymph nodes should go down but if they continue to cause you concern then do go back and discuss this with your GP.
