Hi,I had my first ec treatment for tnbc,I've been sent home with anti sickness tablets,one of them being levomepromazine,I read on the leaflet it is used in palliative care,can it be used also just for anti sickness,I'm freaking out?
Levomepromazine is an anti sickness drug which also has the side affect at certain doses of being a sedative. This medication is used for both these things in palliative care at different doses to what you will have been prescribed. Lots of medications have two or even three different actions making them quite useful in palliative care and in active treatment situations.
