Worries

Hi

Iv had an issue with GERD (acid refluxes) for 8 months. However 4 months ago i discovered a lump in my mouth, had it checked out and it was not cancerous. I then found swollen lymphondes and bad pain in my throth/neck (still there) , however had an ultrasound and they said it was fine. Now the last month i have found a lump on my left hip bone aswell as i have akward pain in left side of chest and hip when i lie down. The doctors have told me is nothing serious everytime, but obviusly when i keep being tired, sweat during night, find new lumps etc. I get worried. Wondering if anyoneelse have had anything similar and if all the pain is just and indication of the GERD.

  • Hello

I am sorry but, only your doctor will be able to tell you what might be causing your problems.  The best thing to do would be to speak to them again.  No one here on Cancer Chat will be able to tell you what the problem might be, and as this is primarily a forum for Cancer Patients and their friends and family, many of the people on here will have been affected by cancer and you are less likely to hear from people who turned out not to have it after presenting with some sort of symptom.  So the best thing to do would be to talk things over with your doctor again.  If you don't think they are listening to you see if you can see another GP in the practice.  What ever is causing your problems it must be difficult for you, so it isn't unreasonable for you to want your doctor to investigate it for you and to see if there is anything that might help.

    Take Care
