Multiple Lymph nodes

Hi all,

Coming back on to here to say I have recovered from my laryngitis. Doctors suspected it was a bacterial infection in the throat which made it last so long the hoarseness.

Although, the lymph nodes on my neck have not gone down since, it has been around a month with them. The on the back of my neck is still the same size and has not caused any problems. From being so stressed and looking around my neck for more I discovered a lymph node on the left of my jaw between my neck. Its way larger than the one on the back of my neck which is around a pea size, this one is at least the size of a grape.

From googling which I shouldn't be, had led me to multiple pages telling me it's cancer. It's painless, moveable, hard. I still would have never found this lump without prodding around my neck because it's unnoticeable unless touched. I pray everyday it isn't lymphoma.

I have no other symptoms of what I believe I have being lymphoma, just the lumps in my neck themself.

Going to see a Dr next week and every day leading to it I have been constantly just feeling my neck for lumps.

I will give updates after my appointment praying for it to be nothing.

Would also like to add, these lumps aren't visible what so ever, these are all under my skin and only feelable.

It is good to read that you are seeing the doctor and that things are getting looked into.  You should get some answers soon. Try to resist the temptation to keep feeling the nodes.  Sometimes this can inflame them and this can make them enlarge a little which will frighten you.  It is also probably best right now not to spend too much time here on Cancer Chat.  This will keep cancer front of mind for you and increase your anxiety, and there are so many other possible causes for enlarged lymph nodes.

    Take care
