Tiny breast ball near nipple size of tip of pen

Hi All

I went toy gp this morning as I have health anxiety and during a self vreast exam found a tiny tiny little ball near niople size of tip of pen. Fearing the worst thanks to health anxiety. She examined both breasts and said it looks like a tiny fat ball from scar tissue as had total duct removed two years ago due to nipple discharge due to ductal estasia or a papilloma. Anyway its super tiny. Happy she checked me out. Any one explain this? Period due tomorrow and she reckons probably go itself or won't be able to feel after breasts settle after period. She said she's not concerned of anything sinister and if she was she'd have me straight into breast clinic. Don't know why I'm posting but suppose feel better now.

Hello and thanks for your post,
It does sound very reassuring that the GP examined your breasts and thought there was no cause for concern.
No one here can diagnose you (tell you what's wrong) as everyone is so different and it is difficult to compare one person with another. You have been examined by a GP. They have experience in examining breasts and know what to look out for so try to be reassured by what she has told you rather then searching for other answers.
I am sure that if she had any concerns then she would have referred you for further tests at a breast clinic.
Health Anxiety can be exhausting and I am sorry if you feel that you have been affected by it.
