It's probably a good sign that it is not with the gynaecology oncology consultant, my two week appointments were with them, l had ovarian cysts that were benign when removed last November. I hope you have good news.

It is always a good idea if you can to bring someone a long to your appointment as it can be helpful to have another set of ears listening to what the doctor has to say.

There can be many different reasons to explain symptoms and it does not always mean cancer but it is important to rule anything serious out. The majority of patients with a two week referral are found not to have cancer.

I can understand how stressful it is waiting for your appointment so try if you can to keep your self busy and your mind distracted on other things if you possibly can.
