Pre cancerous cells

I'm really worried when I was 16 I had a pelvic Evam which showed I had a large cervical ectropion. The GP said they would refer me to gynocology but I never received anything I'm now 20. All the women in my family have had to have pre cancourous cells lasered off. I'm scared that I had precancerous cells when I was 16 but never received my referral. I don't know what to do as I don't get a smear until im 25 and im panicking :neutral:

    Perhaps to put your mind at rest it would be worth having a chat with your GP or practice nurse and ask them to take a look to see if the ectropion is still there.  If it is, they can decide if they still need to refer you to gynaecology. I don't think you need to panic but it would be sensible to get some advice from your surgery.
