Hi I had one 3 years ago, it grew bigger and eventually I couldn't open my mouth properly. I didn't have toothache. Turned out it was an infection from the root of my tooth that had already into the bone. I had to have intravenous antibiotics. Don't leave it and go to your GP. Even though it's likely not to be anything sinister, the treatment will be a lot better the quicker it's seen to. Sending love

Anything new, and/or painful should be checked out. Do ring your GP or dentist for further advice. You can also ring NHS 111 too.
