Abnormal lumps

Hi Everyone,

So, in May i noticed a painless, palpable, no proper definition lump on my right forearm and it jept growing throughout June and now it's 7cm. Went to GP and they ran regular blood tests and ESR, Serum globulins, Ferritin was all raised. They suspected soft tissue sarcoma and had US, which showed nothing but since May i've developed 2 other lumps, one on left calf (causing total muscle weakness) the third one being hard 1cm in upper arm of the hand i have 7cm. I saw an oncologist yesterday and they did more bloodworks and will repeat US (not sure why) it makes no sense but wondered if anyone has had a similar experience, if so what was it. Thank you.

  • Hello and thanks for your post

I don't know if anyone will come along and share their experience with you, but even if they do, I’m not sure that their experience will shed much in the way of light about what is going on with you.  Lumps can occur for a number of reasons and sometimes after they are investigated, nothing untoward is found.

Because new lumps have appeared, I would imagine that is why they are doing another ultrasound to check these out.

I realise that waiting to find out what the matter is unsettling. Easier said than done but try not to dwell too much on what the colonoscopy might find and take things one step at a time.

    Best wishes,

    Celene
