Hi how long can it take for your white blood count to get back to normal after chemo, I finished 1st july last year and had bloods done for a nhs health check and my WBC is slightly low,he is going to do a repeat In September.
I am not comppletely sure, I expect the answer to this depends on the type of chemotherapy, but a year after treatment ends I think a lot of people would have a normal count, although probably not everyone. However it sounds like your WBC is only slightly on the low side which can happen for other reasons. It is common to repeat blood tests when something is slightly outside of the normal range, but usually it puts itself right.
