Hi l had bilateral complex ovarian cysts removed last October, as l am over 65 they were considered precancerous they were 6cm and 4cm. After finding them during a colonoscopy for bowel changes and left sided pain.  l had a MRI, Ultrasounds abdominal and trans vaginal,  to check if they were getting bigger or shrinking l actually saw a gynaecologist!   At the oncology clinic on the two week wait. 

The cysts were difficult to remove due to extensive adhesions surgery took  over 4 hours, the biopsies were benign and I feel better now than I have for age's. I have been complaining about left sided pain for yrs dismissed as probably adhesions, due to previous surgery, hysterectomy and caesarean, fortunately the oncology surgeon was used to awkward cases and stuck with removing  the adhesions. She said others would have bailed out and left them. It cancelled the rest of the operations that morning. 

l hope you have a similar outcome and that your cyst is benign. l was given the choice to remove the cysts or just observe them,

I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage, that is so awful for you. And now you have stress and concerns about your health too.

As Alfieisastar has said, ovarian cysts are common and very often benign. Do also remember your bloods have come back normal too.

Ovarian cysts can cause symptoms, so the doctors will decide whether to keep you under observation or to remove it. Sometimes they can disperse by themselves so surgery isn't always needed.

Take care Kelly, and do try to not worry. You will get more information in 2 weeks time, so try for now to keep yourself busy and your mind distracted so that time passes quicker.
