Breast clinic visit

Hi,

Hope everyone is doing okay.

 

I've just got back from the Breast clinic.

They were running nearly two hours late which I know can't be helped but my anxiety was so bad.

I had a check and an ultrasound scan and am now waiting another few weeks for another scan.

The consultant didn't say what scan this would be. I know they are really busy but it all felt so rushed.

Do you think this would be a mammogram as I had an ultrasound today?

    Hi Gemma, I'm sorry you're going through this - it's not easy, is it? Nobody knows what they meant but a phone call might give you more info. From my experience, I had a mammo and ultrasound and biopsy on the same day and then an MRI a couple of weeks later - this last one found the little aliens hiding away in my breast and a more accurate size of them. Please call them and ask - I hope you get good news but, whatever, I'm sure you're in the best hands - hug on its way
