I would get in touch with either your GP or the gynaecologist's secretary. If they planned to monitor your cyst to see if it was growing they will probably have written in your notes when you are next due a scan. Your hospital should have also written to your GP to say how you would be followed up.

I can't say what they would recommend as a lot would depend on the size and whether you are having any symptoms from the cyst.

I would contact the consultants secretary they have been really helpful when I had my overies removed, they contacted the surgeon and rang me with my operation dates. They can read the last letter and tell you what the follow up should be.
