Hi just read your post on here,and im sorry you are still experiencing pain after your colonoscopy in February, and that it nearly made you faint,when they pumped the air into your colon/rectum to widen the passage so the scope could pass through more easily.  I know how uncomfortable these procedures are as I've had 39 of them,and will have to have them on and off for the rest of my life, I've had numerous polyps removed,the last one was a difficult one as it was a flat sessile polyp, like you it couldn't be done on the day,and I was scheduled for a two hr slot on another day, as it had to have blue dye injected into it and carefully cut away in five sections. It grew back within a few monthes  and I had to have another colonoscopy, this time it had turned into high grade dysplasia...pre cancerous cells,so I had to have a right side bowel resection, where they took half of my bowel away and my appendix ( as its attached to the right side of your bowel) and a very small piece of my intestine. Hopefully yours won't be anything like mine . My point is you can  sometimes experience  a lot of discomfort and bloating after these procedures , it is quite normal for some people,I know I too experienced this with some of my colonoscopy procedures,ecspecialy the bloating after eating  I still do even now. I also had ulcerative colitis aged 18,and I've also got diverticulitis, which is where the bowel has kind of pockets along it,and so faeces can sit in these pockets and cause toxins to build up inside ,and this In itself can cause symptoms like the bloating,and being uncomfortable when having to bend,it makes it really uncomfortable ecspecialy just in the soft part if your stomach at the top under your rib cage. Try not to worry ,but I know its easier said than done. You didn't say In your post if you opted to have sedation during your colonoscopy, if you didn't I would suggest you do have it it doesn't put you completely out but it just relaxes you and makes you a lot calmer during the procedure. Let's hope the next colonoscopy is easier for you and that the polyp that is there  is just that a polyp,  and nothing more. I've had loads removed before the flat sessile polyp that we're just that,harmless polyps. Keep positive that this will be the case,and good luck with everything   do let us know  how it all goes on here ,big  hug sent your way .

I am sorry to hear about your experience of having a colonoscopy. 

Hopefully when you are seen next more will be known about the pain and discomfort you are feeling.  Be reassured that you are still being investigated and will hopefully know more about what is the matter soon.

I think Jassoscard has given you some good advice based on her own experiences.  Having some sedation may help you relax and make the whole procedure easier, so do ask about this. 

In the meantime it might be a good idea to see if any food or drink makes you more bloated or even causes you pain, you can do this by keeping a food diary, commenting on how you feel after eating or drinking. It might help you understand if diet makes your symptoms worse. 

While you are waiting to be seen do talk with your GP if your pain becomes more difficult to cope with.

Thanks for your message, it is so helpful so I can learn more about it. About a week now I stopped eating carbs and the discomfort went away. I spoked with a doctor last week and they will do another colonoscopy to remove the polyp, investigate my case and change my diet and perhaps give me antibiotics.

 I will see what's going to happen but as a food lover is hurting to cut foods from my diet but is for a good reason!
