I went for my smear test today and it has made me nervous, as I bled quite abit during the procedure. When she pulled the little brush thing out it was dripping with blood and the speculum also had blood in.( She had to change the towel thing on the table as she removed the speculum). She then looked at my cervix and noted I had a very thin, traumatised cervix. This is scary as I have never delivered any children. I am worried as she called in another doctor to also examine with a magnifying light thing and he agreed that a referral was best. I sat there answering there questions and didn't really get told much. Has anyone experienced this ?
