I'm sorry to hear about your situation, and others on the cancer forum may come forward with their own experiences, but nasal polyps are rarely cancer.

I can understand your worries around the statistics that the Doctor has given to you about your vision, but it is normally an uncommon side affect of this surgery. I think it would be good for you to discuss risks and benefits with the surgeon further so you feel clearer.
