I take desogestrol and didn't have anything for about 5 years, now I do and very randomly. Sometimes they can be close together other times far apart between each one

I would go and chat to your GP about this as they know more about your medical history and whether this bleed could be related to the medication that you are on.

If you have gone through the menopause or are going through it then usually the doctors would want to investigate a bleed after the menopause. Have a read what the NHS have to say about bleeding after the menopause here

There maybe a reasonable explanation as to why you have had a bleed but it is always best to have these things investigated.
