I am sorry to hear about your current symptoms. There can be many explanations for lower back/pelvic area pain. Do speak with your hospital team or GP about this ongoing issue, and ask their advice. There are several varied painkillers that may help too, so do ask about getting your pain better controlled.

Thank you for getting back to me...

I have been given paracetamol and codeine by my doctor but it doesn't seem to help ....have been taking it now for 6 days 4 times a day now.

Have admission letter now for operation in May
