Hello and thanks for your post
The stage and grade of a cancer describes its size, whether it has spread and how quickly it may develop. You can read more about the stage and grade of kidney cancer here.
It is sometimes possible to offer lung surgery for kidney cancer that has spread to the lung. This is very specialist surgery and if it's possible it aims to help someone live longer and have a better quality of life. You can read more about this at this link.
The patients’ clinical team is better placed to advise you further on all of this as they are familiar with all the medical details.
I hope this is of some help. Give us a ring if you want to talk any of this over. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Kind regards,
