No one can give you peace. No one can even begin to diagnose you. Only in person exams, and if need be, tests can give you the answers/reassurance you need. Nor can google. Google is NOT a diagnostic tool. It's a great tool when you know what you have, but it's useless at telling you what you may or may not have.

The fact you're here, means you really, really need to go and see a gp.

Not the story you want to hear, nor am i implying this is any in shape or form representative of your own circumstances, but some lumps can only be felt when lying down. It's because the tissue moves due to gravity and positional changes.

I get you're frightened, but think about it, would you rather get told it's nothing and get on with your life or sit there and fret for weeks, even months that it could be something? Waiting doesn't change what it is or could be.  Ignoring lumps don't make them go away. On the plus side, your age is considerably in your favour, but that doesn't mean it can't be something sinister.

I'm not an expert, so i can't comment on temporary hormonal changes, but one thing i do know. If a gp gets annoyed at anyone turning up at their surgery with a lump or any concerning symptom, they shouldn't be a gp.

This is exactly what gps are for. Dealing with these sort of health concerns. They want to tell people their lumps are nothing. They get to carry on with their day and you get to carry on with the rest of your life.

Defiinatly ring the Gp, you always need too get these things checked, the earlier you find something the better, there is no point waiting or putting yourself through any anxiety. 
 

It is probably nothing boobs are so complex, and your so young, from my own experience though you must go and get it checked

I’m sorry you are worried about getting breast cancer and it sounds like this anxiety is taking over your life a little.

Although it is important to be breast aware you don't need to check yourself too often. This is because the breasts can naturally change at different times of the monthly cycle due to hormones and it isn't unusual for them to feel lumpier for a couple of days each month. Of course every woman is different and it is important to know what is normal for you so when you do notice something different that isn't settling then do get it checked out by your GP.

Doctors are very used to assessing breast lumps and know if they need to refer someone to the breast clinic for further tests. If they were concerned in any way they wouldn't hesitate to refer you there. But if you were referred remember breast lumps are extremely common and are often caused by fluid filled cysts or a build up of fatty tissue called fibroadenomas rather than breast cancer especially at your young age.

 You may also want to share your anxiety about breast cancer with your GP as they may be able to suggest some things to help.
