HI May I ask the Kadcyla injection by needle from hand OR by PICC line. pleae? If by needle from hand , is there any impact on vein or not. I cannot find much infor. thank you X
Kadcyla (Trastuzumab) is given either in to a drip in your arm or in to a central line or PICC. You can read more about how it is given on our website here
I have not read any information that indicates there may be damage to the vein but if this is something that is concerning you then do discuss it with your team looking after you.
The drug is given as an infusion so it will be diluted as it goes in to your veins.
