Waiting for the results of tests can be a very anxious time.

As I am sure you are aware we can't second guess what the doctor is going to say to you on Thursday.

All suspected cancer patients are formally discussed in an MDT (Multi Disciplinary Team) meeting. All the doctors involved in your care meet to discuss your case. Each case is treated individually so I can't say for sure what they are going to say. They may want advice from other members of the team about the indented area and whether they need to biopsy it or whether they have enough information from the MRI.

Try not to think too far ahead until you know more which I know is easier said then done.

Thanks for your reply, I'm just very nervous about what they are going to say as I'm sure everyone is. When I went for the Ultrasound the Radiographer said he would suggest a biopsy is done at the same time as the MRI but as I said a biopsy was never mentioned. I'll wait and see what they say on Thursday.
