My 13 Yr old girl has found a lump on her outer thigh about 2 months ago it was painless until recently and hasn't really got any bigger that I can feel but it is red on the skin where it is. Has anyone else had anything like this before?
Lumps can cause a lot of anxiety, but the majority turn out to be harmless. But it's not possible to say what your daughter’s thigh lump may be due to. Only a doctor can make a medical assessment so the best thing to do is to make an appointment for her to see her GP if it doesn't settle down. They will examine her and will advise you further.
